1. What is your project about? My project is about how the way you grip the softball affects the entire pitch, like the speed and spin of the ball. 1. Why did you choose this project? I chose this topic because I am a pitcher in softball and I wanted to learn more about how my pitches work so I can improve them and have the right speed difference between the different pitches. 1. What was your result/ overall conclusion? My overall conclusion was since all of the grips are different, the pitches were a bunch of different speeds. My hypothesis was also correct because my four seam fastball was the fastest pitch that I threw. 1. Why is your project important? My project is important because it gives me a lot of ideas on how to improve my speed and spin. It is also helpful for other pitches too so they can learn which grips to use and how it affects the speed and the pitch.

  1. This project is very interesting! I also paint my nails, and would love to know how to make them last longer. I especially like your reflection on what may have gone wrong during the experiment.
