Fruit Ripening

My project is about how different fruit ripens differently in different temperatures. I chose this project because I wanted to know if I could slow down the ripening process by changing the temperature. My conclusion was that when fruit is in colder temperatures, the fruit ripens slower. My project is important because it helps people know whether or not they should put fruit in warmer or colder temperatures.

  1. I liked how you used the thermometer because a lot of students would only use “Room Temperature”, “Freezer” or “Refrigerator”. Using the thermometer shows your attention to detail. Keep up the good work.

  2. Good job! I like that you tested three temperatures (fridge, freezer, and room temperature) and checked the fruits every day for a whole week. Your steps were clear, and your ripeness rating and pictures helped show what happened.
