Cooking pasta for dinner takes time because we have a large family, and you have to wait for the water to boil, then cook the pasta from the box. I wanted to test if we soaked the pasta, would the cooking time decrease for our family.

  1. What an interesting and practical project! You did a great job establishing the variables and ensuring all of your trials could be done consistently. I’m curious if the time that you soaked the pasta had any impact on the taste. Although not an objective measure, could be interesting to consider.

Great, practical project that can certainly help families save time and energy!

  2. cooking time greatly reduced when pasta is soaked but does not reduce the total time at which dinner is served. clearly, still cooking dry pata saves time but soaking pasta before cooking saves energy

  3. This is amazing. I like how you briefly explained the whole process and still gave a visual display of the outcome. Well done!

  4. Nice research paper to explain your project. Good use of a bar graph to illustrate your results.

  5. I enjoyed learning about your project! You did a great job explaining your research methods.
