My project is the fire snake experiment. It uses four simple ingredients to create a cool chemical reaction. All you need to make it is sand, lighter fluid, baking soda and sugar. When the reaction happens it will grow right out of the sand and it will almost come out infinitely.
Your project is very exciting, and I like that you tested different sugars instead of just doing the demonstration once. You did a great job measuring the burn time and creating a graph to compare the results. That shows careful data collection. Also, I was impressed that you explained why regular sugar worked best and admitted your hypothesis was not correct. That is real scientific thinking!
