The problem is that dogs may drink pool water that contains harmful chemicals like chlorine which can cause health problems over time. I created a filtration system that removes chlorine from pool water and makes it safer for dogs and other creatures.

  1. What a wonderful, heartfelt project! Your love for your dog, Seabass, inspired you to solve a real problem, how to make pool water safe for dogs to drink. That is exactly what researchers do: they identify a need and build something to address it. I was impressed that you researched the dangers of chlorine, sketched a design, gathered materials, and built not just one but two iterations. Your observation that the first iteration worked better because the water level was lower shows real scientific thinking. Even more impressive was your discovery that your filter removed other acids as well—an unexpected yet valuable finding! Seabass is lucky to have such a thoughtful scientist looking out for him

  2. Thank you for raising awareness about the harmful water that dogs unknowingly drink.
