I chose this project because when you are dusting your ceiling fan, dust gets all over the floor. This means that you have to sweep or vacuum after you’re done dusting. I solved the problem by adding a dustpan under the duster so it would catch the dust that would normally fall on the floor. I learned that the dust pan wasn’t enough to catch all the dust, so if I were to do it again, I would add something else to help collect more dust.

This project has a strong engineering design process with testing and redesign. I was impressed that you explained what did not work and how you would redesign it. Moreso, your step-by-step building instructions were very clear. Someone else could follow them and build the same prototype.
