Electrical Elements

Energy and Change

Grade:
4
Teacher:
Sandy Martinez

This science fair project is about which combination of metals from the periodic table makes the best battery. To find this out, we tested different combinations of metals using an electrolyte and measured the voltage with a voltmeter. We discovered that some metal combinations produced more electricity than others. This experiment helped us understand what is inside a battery and how batteries work.

  1. Fantastic work, scientists! You asked a powerful question, tested many metal combinations, and collected impressive data to support your conclusions.

  2. Excellent work! Your discovery about copper and magnesium having the greatest voltage shows strong thinking and careful testing. Kudos to you
