My science fair project is about whether the color of an egg affects how much weight it can withstand. I chose this project because it has been something I wanted to test for quite a while and for its convenience due to the fact that I have some chickens at my house. After testing, my result was that green eggs could support the most weight, brown eggs supported the next largest amount of weight, and white eggs withstood the least amount of weight. My project could help producers know what they should be producing so less eggs break in transit or from other reasons and can help buyers know what eggs to buy to hopefully break less at home.
