Effects Of Solar Radiation On Escherichia Coli Growth Rate

This project aimed to find how the bacterium, E. Coli, was affected by sunlight. Sterile water was used in order to suspend to E. Coli as well as mimic drinking water. The results yielded supports my hypothesis, in which E. Coli populations will decrease upon elongated exposure to sunlight. With this information, scientists will be able to better understand the commonly known bacteria as well as help less fortunate people in other countries.
