Desert Drops: Engineering Clean Water
Plants and the Environment- Grade:

Our class designed and tested water filters using cotton, sand, and gravel to see how dirty water could be cleaned. We tested our filters several times and observed the results. The water became a little clearer, but not completely clean. We learned that filter design and material order matter, and that cleaning water in the desert is challenging.

Your plan, multiple trials, and careful notes on time, clarity, and where the dirt got trapped, shows that you worked like real engineers who test and improve designs. Great jobs
The presentation and slides are impressive. I especially love the part where you mentioned that water is not just necessary but essential for plants, animals, and people. Great job!
This is great data collection and analysis!
