This project is about me seeing which fabrics (Cotton or Silk) are more durable when washing them in the washing machine. For the project I will cover each shirt with a different stain, wash them in the washing machine and dry them on a rack for a day. I chose this project because when I grow up I want to be a fashion designer that makes really durable clothes for people. The results of this project were that Cotton is more durable than Silk when washing it in the washing machine. This happened because the Cotton fabrics did not lose its durability when I was washing it in the washing machine. This project is important to people who buy clothes because this can help them see which fabric last longer so they don’t have to spend lots of money on non durable clothing.
