Cold Cup Water Effectiveness

When cold water sits in a room, heat from the air moves into the water, causing it warm up over time. Different types of cups are made from different materials, which may affect how quickly heat moves into the air. This experiment was designed to test which type of cup keeps water the coldest for the longest time. Understanding how insulation works can help people choose better drink containers for everyday use espcially in hot weather. As an athlete, it's critical to remain hydrated during games and practices, so I conducted this experiment to determine which cup will keep my water coldest the longest.

  1. Great job testing which cups keep water cold the longest. I really like how you explained why insulation matters and connected it to staying hydrated during sports, very practical and scientific.
