Chirp! Chirp! My Nest or Yours?

Abstract: Our class’s interest was sparked during our pollinator quest unit when we observed a few types of birds on our campus that are pollinators who had built a few nests in some nearby trees.Would birds prefer man made nests to their own? Would these nests prove to be just as strong or stronger? Our class began to wonder if this could be tested and proven. They brainstormed items they may have at home and in their yards that birds may use to build nests and became excited to bring them in and give it a go!
Such a neat idea! I love seeing your design plans. It was smart to use a wildlife camera. I love that you are extending this project in to the spring!
