My project is about how I designed and created a Christmas tree for cats. I have chosen this project because our cats always climb into our Christmas tree and end up knocking ornaments off and destroying it. I thought it would be fun and interesting to design my own solution to this problem by myself. The aim of my project was to create a Christmas tree for cats where they could climb and play. The project was actually successful because my cats mostly did not touch our tree and had so much fun playing in their own tree. This project is important because it could actually be useful to other cat owners who face the same problem.

  1. What a wonderful and creative solution to a very relatable problem! Your cats are lucky to have such a thoughtful scientist in the family. I was impressed by how you researched cat behavior first, learning about their love for perching, scratching, and exploring textures, and then used that knowledge to design something they would actually enjoy. Building a prototype, gathering materials, and documenting each step shows real dedication. The best part? Your data proves it worked! Both cats chose their special tree over the family Christmas tree. You solved the problem while giving your cats a fun new playground. This project could help so many cat owners. Fantastic work!

  2. Wow! This is great. I have a similar problem with one of my cats. Your design is beautiful and kept both of your cats safe during the holiday season.
