Candy Dissolving Race

The scholars tested Skittles in different liquids to experiment on which liquid would dissolve the Skittles the fastest. The scholars were interested in finding out what happens when candy is mixed with different liquids. They tested Skittles in water, vinegar, soda, and vegetable oil.
This is a very strong foundational chemistry project with solid experimental design, replication, and honest data interpretation. The structured time intervals and clear control variables elevate this project above many elementary-level experiments.
