1. The project is about particles that are even smaller than atoms. 1. I wanted to see what subatomic particles looked like and I didn't have a microscope to do it. 1. Subatomic particles can be seen using specific materials and a cloud chamber. 1. It helped me see invisible things in the universe. I found out that physics happened at home too.
Nice experiment. Do you know why the alcohol worked while the water did not. Do you know what particles you were seeing and where they came from? Now that you have the setup, this could be a good continuing project next year.
