Can We Change Dirty Water Into Fresh Water?

Energy and Change

Grade:
1
Teacher:
Madhavi Rachakonda

These students want to investigate how dirty water can be cleaned using simple natural materials like rocks, sand, coal, and cotton. They built a layered water filter, poured dirty water through it, and observed how much cleaner the water became. This experiment helps show how filtration works and how cleaning and reusing water can help conserve this important resource.
