Our project is about how peppermint can lessen or increase your reaction time after it has been consumed. We chose this project because before big tests, administrators tend to give out peppermint flavored things and we wanted to know if there is a reason behind it. Our results showed that peppermint does increase your reaction time. It is important because it allows athletes and students to understand how certain things can help their performance. Keywords: peppermint, reaction time, performance

  1. Great job! Your project is so well explained, and I love how you connected real scientific research with your own data. Your experiment was carefully designed, and your results clearly show how peppermint can boost reaction time. Very impressive work!

  2. This project asks a practical and engaging question about whether peppermint can influence focus and reaction time. The student clearly explains the reasoning behind the hypothesis and uses a measurable test to collect data, which is a strong part of the design. The repeated trials also show good effort to gather more reliable results. Overall, this is an interesting project that shows curiosity and good effort in linking a common everyday experience to human performance.
