Great job on your ‘Burgers Molding’ project! You took a very common question about fast food and turned it into a rigorous scientific test. I am especially impressed by your ‘post-game’ analysis, recognizing that bagging a hot burger creates the moisture mold needs is a brilliant scientific observation! Even though your hypothesis about the bacon was disproven, your discovery that the simplest burger molded first is a very interesting result. Your project encourages everyone to think more critically about what is in our food. Keep up the great work!
This is a good experiment that could help people detect when bad food has been sold to them. Also, it could be beneficial for one to know if the food they have has gone bad to avoid a stomach ache.
What an interesting project! I wonder what the implications are- is more (faster) mold mean that the food is healthier because it decomposes at an expected rate? Keep studying and contributing to the field of science!
Awesome and relevant project on mold growth on burgers! Great presentation of your results. Kudos!
