Firearm forensics is a set of procedures that involve determining if a bullet at a crime scene was fired from a gun believed to be the weapon used at that crime scene. The theory for firearm forensics is quiet simple to understand, but difficult to use in practice. The procedure involves identifying and matching both class and individual characteristics between a gun and a bullet.
