Does the price of ingredients to make brownies affect the taste of the brownies? I chose this project because I wanted to know if price matters. Results showed that middle priced product was the most preferred but the taste testers. My project is important because it helps people who watch their budget have the opportunity to be able to taste something great.

  1. It looks like your experimental process was organized, which is a great start to any project!
    Keep up the good work.
Could you have measured anything in this experiment that wasn’t subjective? (Subjective meaning a matter of opinion?). For substance, if I grew up eating cheaper Walmart coco powder brownies, I might prefer that taste, just because I am used to it. Or if I grew up eating expensive coco powdere in brownies, I might prefer that, just because it is what I’m used to…. But it may not mean that it actually tastes better (or worse). Maybe you could measure the rise of the brownie or the density? Just thoughts for future experiments. Good job. Keep experimenting!

  2. Great job asking a clear question. I really liked your method of baking the brownies in a fair way by keeping the steps the same and only changing the cocoa powder. Your graphs looked good, and I appreciate how you used 10 taste testers to help answer your question.
