Bird strikes are birds impacting on any surface or any part of an aircraft while the aircraft is airborne. This could result in engine failures or other damage on the plane. Bird strikes are a massive issue putting all the lives on board a aircraft in danger. The best modifications to alter these outcomes are using a certain sound frequency to disturb the bird before impact causing the bird to evade. Or using lights to shine into the birds view causing them to react. I believe that through the use of sound, light, or reflection, that I could reduce the amount of bird strikes on aircraft significantly.
