Bio-Bloom is a project about turning food waste into renewable energy. We chose this topic because a lot of food is thrown away around the world, and it creates pollution. Instead of wasting food, we looked at how food waste can be used to make energy. Our results showed that food waste can be turned into biodiesel which is a green energy type of fuel. This helps reduce trash in landfills and replaces some fossil fuels. Bio Bloom shows that using food waste for energy is a smart, sustainable solution to help the environment. Your project demonstrates an understanding of an important concept in energy science: renewable vs. nonrenewable resources. Coal is a fossil fuel that takes millions of years to form and releases large amounts of carbon dioxide when burned. Biomass, on the other hand, comes from recently living plants or organic materials and can be replenished much more quickly. By investigating biomass as a possible alternative, you showed strong environmental awareness and forward thinking.
It was especially good that you tried to compare biomass fuel to coal in terms of energy production, burning time, or heat output. That comparison makes your experiment meaningful and relevant.
