In this experiment I tested 5 brands of diapers. I tested Huggies, Millie Moon, Pampers, Parents choice and Up&Up. I used water and measured how much each diapers retained. I was surprised by the results.
This is an excellent project that demonstrates careful planning, sound scientific methods, and clear reasoning. The student asked a meaningful, practical question, designed a fair experiment with multiple trials, and collected reliable data. The analysis was especially strong, as it recognized when the hypothesis was incorrect and clearly explained the unexpected results. The graphs and photos made the findings easy to understand. Overall, this project shows that the student understands how to conduct real scientific investigations and communicate results effectively.
