Bat Tag! What animal/sensory adaptations could make us better at playing blind tag?

Animal Science

Grade:
3
Teacher:
Kelsey Jernigan

Six students created a new game that we named Blind Tag. In our game, you have to turn yourself blind. Your opponents run away. The tagger has to hear you screaming and tag you. We tested the game so that we could teach others how to play. It reminded the teacher about bats getting their food in the dark cave. One student remembered about adaptations (ad-apt-A-tions), so we decided to test out different adaptations with our game.

  1. This is a great animal science project that demonstrates strong scientific thinking, iterative design, and honest reflection. The combination of creativity and improved experimental rigor makes this exceptional!
