1. What is your project about? I made my project about finding out why to make a different type of egg cartons for back yard chicken keepers. 1. Why did you choose this project? I chose this project because my dad and I are backyard chickens and I wanted to find out a way to make a more cost effective and more eco-friendly egg carton. 1. What was your result/ overall conclusion? I made four different shaped egg cartons and during my experiment i found out that two of the ones that i made ended up performing better than the store pulp egg cartons 1. Why is your project important? Pulp is one of the most used materials in egg cartons and it wastes water and has microplastics that will eventually pollute the earth.
Great job! I really like your design and methodology — they were outstanding. I was especially impressed by your decision to test at different speeds and your sound judgment in choosing not to increase the speed once failure occurred at a lower level.
Additionally, comparing your results with the control was a top-notch approach. Your demonstration clearly showed how both the cylinder-shaped model and the improved triangle design (Triangle with paper cushion) outperformed the control. Excellent work overall!
