We have a class of 26 students. Most of the students like to learn with a lot of movement. They like to stand, use balance boards, move around etc. Unfortunately, our class only has 2 balance boards and all the students like to use them. They either get taken by the first few students who come into class and then get taken by other students throughout the day. We have students in class that actually do “need” them but most students benefit from them. When looking at the cost of classroom balance boards we don’t have the money to purchase many or even the space to store them. How can we create a balance board for students who benefit from them using the materials we have in our classroom and school?
