This project is about the impact of AI on people’s lives. Can people tell the difference between AI and real photos, and does the amount of time people use their devices impact their choice. My project question is “does age, time spent on digital devices, social media use, or gender affect how accurately people can tell the difference between AI-generated images and real images?” This project is relevant to the future because there will be so many more devices in the future. Keywords: AI, digital devices, mental and physical health

  1. Congratulations on this interesting and relevant project. Your study explores how well people can distinguish between AI-generated and real images, and how age and social media use may affect that ability. Your findings highlight the importance of awareness of AI content as digital technology becomes increasingly integral to everyday life. Science cannot wait for what you have to experiment with and validate in the future. Wishing you all the best in your science research and exploration.

  2. Great project exploring whether people can tell the difference between AI-generated images and real images. I liked how you surveyed many participants and analyzed how age, device usage and social media habits might influence accuracy. Your charts and graphs clearly showed that many people struggled to identify the real image. This project addresses an important topic about AI and digital media awareness in today’s world.
