This project is about a hat that protects from the sun and the rain. I chose this project because people don't have to carry an umbrella and can be protected from the sun at the same time. The results were positive. The hat protected from the sun and the rain.

  1. Strong engineering process: used a control and improved prototypes based on what failed.
Good organization and data display (graph of dryness time).

  2. You demonstrated excellent engineering thinking in this project. I was especially impressed by your use of a control group, your clear design requirements, and your quantitative data showing dryness duration. Your graph clearly demonstrates improvement between prototypes, and your redesign shows strong problem-solving skills. You also connected your material choices to scientific research, which strengthens your project. Keep refining your testing methods and adding even more precise measurements, you are thinking like a true engineer. Outstanding work!

  3. You saw a problem in the world and decided to solve it. That is what engineers and inventors do every day. You researched, built, tested your idea until it worked. Keep trusting your curiosity and creating things that make life better. Your future is bright.

  4. Kudos to you. What a forward thinking young man you are. Your design will provide people with a product that is the best of both worlds functional and cost effective.
