  1. Your project shows strong curiosity, careful testing, and real scientific thinking, and it is clear that you worked hard to explore your question about healthier food dyes. You chose a topic that matters, followed a clear procedure, and collected detailed data about color, taste, pH, and how much dye each sample needed. You also paid close attention to surprises, such as the purple sweet potato getting darker as it sat and the cabbage turning turquoise after baking, which is exactly what scientists do because unexpected results often lead to new ideas. As you keep growing as a scientist, you might explore why some dyes change color with heat or pH, or test how natural dyes work in foods that are not baked. Your curiosity is already one of your strongest tools, and it would be exciting to see which ingredient you would want to investigate next.

  2. You did a great job – some of those cupcakes look delicious and interesting in those bright colors! I agree, turmeric IS terrible tasting. I bet you would love to have your own natural bakery one day.
