Food and Nutrition
Asher Arnett

Grade:
3
Teacher:
Ranieh Abdullhadi

This project tests how much sugar is in drinks that are often thought to be healthy. Different drinks like juices, teas, and shakes were compared using nutrition labels and measurements. The results showed that some drinks labeled as healthy still have a lot of sugar, which can help people make better choices about what they drink.

  1. Great job choosing a very practical health topic and comparing different drinks. Your project shows clear effort with a hypothesis, materials list, and recorded results. I like that you used real nutrition information to help people make healthier choices. Keep up the good scientific thinking!

  2. What an important and eye-opening project! 🥤 I love that you looked closely at drinks that are often considered healthy and asked whether they really are when it comes to sugar content. That’s such a smart and thoughtful question.

Using nutrition labels and measurements to compare juices, teas, and shakes shows strong research skills. You didn’t just guess, you used real data to support your conclusions. Discovering that some “healthy” drinks still contain a lot of sugar is valuable information that can truly help people make better choices.

Your project connects science to everyday life in a meaningful way. Keep asking questions about the world around you. You’re developing excellent critical thinking skills!
