3B27 – Can Life Grow on Other Planets?

This project tests whether bacteria can survive in very hot or very cold temperatures. Water samples were placed on agar plates and exposed to different temperatures to see if bacteria would grow. The results showed that bacteria can survive in extreme conditions, which helps scientists think about whether life could exist on other planets.
