Which Water Temperature Makes the Best Play Dough?

Energy and Change

Grade:
PreK
Teacher:
Alyssa Sisson

We made playdough from scratch. We experimented with different temperatures that could be affecting how the dough turned out. We investigated different water temperatures with multiple batches to discover the best recipe! Find out here! Our youngest learners are very much into learning through sensory and we find the softest playdough is the best for learning.

  1. I love the systematic way you tested how the water temperature would impact how the playdough comes out when using the recipe. The data collection was great and I love how everyone got to participate in the data collection. Keep exploring the world and using science to find the best recipes for playdough and other stuff too.
