I chose my science project because I am an active person, involved in competitive sports, and I wanted to know if being active can also help my brain. My science project seeks to prove that physical exercise improves mental focus and memory. The data from my science project shows that participants who exercised for 15 minutes all increased their memory test scores. While the majority of participants who watched a TV show for 15 minutes decreased their memory test scores. These results are important for people to understand physical activity is important for the body and function of the brain too.
