In my project I was was trying to see if a piece of cardboard decomposes best in a dry, wet, moist, or cold environments. I did this by making a simulated miniature environment for each piece of cardboard. I choose to do this because pollution is taking over the world and I wanted to see if I could find solutions for it. My results were that every environment’s piece of cardboard expanded except for the dry environment. My project is important to the world because pollution is a real problem and cardboard contributes to it. My research can help speed up the decomposition of cardboard.
