My Laundry Chute

Physics and Astronomy
Erik Kaden Alvarez

Grade:
5
Teacher:
Rebecca Welter

I wanted to have an easier way to take my clothes from my room upstairs to the laundry room downstairs. The result helped me be more organized and clean since I would always toss my clothes in the chute instead of letting them pile up on my floor. It was an important project because it was fun to go through all the steps from drawing a plan to working on the project with my dad until it worked perfectly.

  1. Nice final design. I wish I had that when I was a kid! Will you get it installed in the house now?

  2. Very smart adjustments to your original proposal. It’s important to be curious and flexible as a scientist. Good job!
