My project is about food safety. I chose it because I bring my lunch to school everyday and I was curious if the food I was eating was safe to eat. My result showed that food warms up very quickly, rising above the “danger zone” temperatures, even using multiple ice packs. My project is important because food kept at a too warm temperature can result in excessive bacterial growth, causing the food to be unsafe to eat, and making people sick.
