My project is finding out if fast pitches are hit farther than slow pitches. I chose this project because I love softball and love learning how to get better. My hypothesis was partly correct. The fast pitches were hit farther than 2 of the 3 slow pitches. This shows that where and how the bat hits the ball makes a difference in how far it goes. My project is important because if you want to play softball it will help you know how to make the best contact with the ball.
