This experiment tested whether the number and types of bees collected using pan trapping methods would be affected by the amount of sunlight the area receives. We placed pan traps in areas that received direct sunlight for most of the day and also in areas that were in the shade for most of the day. We compared the number and types of bees collected from each area.
