The purpose of this project is to test the variables that may affect the stability of the Golden Gate Brigde. In this project we will test the strength of the engineering of this popular bridge. We will be answering the questions: Which support weight will prevent the bridge from collapsing? Which support weight will prevent the bridge from collapsing due to an earthquake?

  1. Very nice design and experimental setup!

What other forces act on the bridge besides up and down and how might that affect your results.

Are you planning on doing more with this idea?

    Nice job.

  2. Your commitment to the scientific method shone through in this project. Very well designed and executed. Your passion for asking and solving questions is evident. Great job and keep up the fantastic work!
