What is your project about? My project is about trying a white plate and a colored plate and seeing if children would rather eat it on the colored plate than white. Why did you choose this project? I chose this project because of my friend and partner Zadri and her younger siblings who don't really like to eat their veggies, I just wanted to help her out when she has to feed her siblings a snack that's healthy and can help with their energy. What was your result/overall conclusion? My hypothesis was accepted because, when we did our test all 4 kids ate the cucumber and on the rainbow plate and only 1 ate it on the white. Also 1 kid ate the broccoli on the white plate while 2 kids ate it on the colored/ rainbow plate. Why is your project important? My project is important because it can help parents get their children to eat more fruit and veggies. It's also important because it can also help with learning a bunch of different colors on the different foods and plates.

  1. I would love to know how you came up with this because you are right – psychology of presentation really affects how we enjoy things and its a fascinating topic! Also I bet you/your partner’s parents are very happy that you managed to get some extra fruit and veggies in their kids!

  2. Very nice project. Important topic on how to get children to eat more fruits and veggies. I’m now wishing I had colored plates to help eat squash!
