Human Health and Behavior

Megan Dugan

Our students were learning about animal adaptations that arctic animals have that help to keep them warm and survive in the cold. Students wondered which adaptation was most effective in keeping animals warm. After our experiment, we concluded that thick fur was most effective in keeping out cold and holding heat in. This project is important for us to understand how animals survive in extreme weather, and how humans use similar adaptations to survive as well.
