"Our project is about water filtration. We created a water filter sol that we could have fresh drinking water. We chose this project because it could help many people who don't have access to clean water. Only 1 percent of the Earth's water is fresh water. Our results were that the water didn't come out completely clean, but it did come out cleaner than others. Our project is important because it can be used to help and save our environment. It could help millions of people."

  1. Great ideas and observations! Gravel and fine sand are used to filter water, they do a great job but as you noticed there can still be bacteria. The cotton balls are a good touch and may help with filtering out some bacteria along with the dirt.
