"What is the minimum amount of shuffles you need to do to mix up a deck of cards? I tested the overhand shuffle in different shuffle amounts and charted how many times cards were still in order. I organized them first by color, then by suit. I shuffled 5 times as well as 7 times. At 7 shuffles I got one result where no cards were in order, meaning 7 is the minimum amount for a shuffle number. I looked up and attempted other shuffles, but recorded only data for the overhand shuffle. "
