Is it more likely for teens who want tattoos to also have higher levels of depression? Participants take survey that uses questions from the Center for Epidemiological Studies' Depression Scale with an additional question ""Do you have a desire for a tattoo, if so why?"" Answers were recorded and CES-D scoring method was used to gather data on depression levels. Our results showed us how many participants answered either yes or no to wanting tattoos, and which range that they were in. In conclusion, the majority of participants that had said yes to wanting tattoos also showed share of having higher levels of depression.

  1. I love the concept of your project! I think that the subject matter you chose is not only extremely interesting, but quite original as well. It is definitely something people don’t think about, and as mental health issues are becoming more noticed in society, it is very smart and effective to continue to bring light to things that pertain to these same issues.
