Testing different reflective materials on a solar oven

"This project measures the change in temperature of a solar cooker when using different reflective materials. I think solar cookers are fun and Arizona is the state with the most sunshine. The reflective material that looked the shiniest reflected the most heat and made the solar cooker the hottest. Burning fuel for cooking causes problems for people's health because of air pollution and global warming. A simple solar cooker can be a clean way to cook food or heat water in large parts of the world. "

  1. Neat project. Was the air temperature the same for all of the trials? I liked the comment about getting the foil to be smooth.
