My project is about how swim caps affect swimmers and times and so, what would be the best type of cap to have based on the results and how they affect their speed, which depends on how they swim and how they feel with the cap and if it improved their swimming. I tested the latex and silicone caps with no cap on a swimmer and used 2 laps for each cap that was used and when the swimmer had no cap on. I chose this project to decide what cap is the best to use for people like swim teams or people who generally swim in a pool and so, it can give the best results like reducing drag, which can prevent the cap from stopping the swimmer and slowing them down and increasing compression, so that hair won’t distract the swimmer while swimming.
