"Our class experimented with everyday items in the classroom to determine whether the items would absorb water. Students made predictions based on the material of each item. This topic was selected because the student enjoy the sensory experience of playing in water, putting items in water, and using various materials to clean up after their water play activities."
I loved the way this project combined vocabulary with the scientific concepts. Illustrations were excellent. I liked the way the students made predictions and then found that some were more accurate than others.
Nice use of vocabulary and introduction to the scientific process!
