"We decided to test the friction of a car on a track with and without oil. We used hot wheels and a track to measure the distance traveled by the car when elevated height. We then placed oil on the track and retested the distance the car traveled when elevated at the same height. We found that the car without the oil had better friction and therefore traveled farther. "
