"In this study, the relationship between L. zonatus and strains of Burkholderia (environ, mentally transmitted) were explored. The research aimed to determine if Burkholderia is horizontally transmitted at the beginning of an insect's development. This study also helps further understanding of symbiont-host interactions. I chose this project to help educate and exhilarate my community in animal sciences."

  1. Nice job! I hope you continue to have an interest in science as we need good scientists who can conduct good work.

  2. The researcher’s enthusiasm showed in her thorough study and joy of presentation. Excellent poster graphics aided understanding.

  3. You did a very thorough job of explaining your research and your data. I liked the way you talked about the limitations of the study and what you could different next time. In the interview I was really impressed by your passion for science and learning. I believe you will go on to do really meaningful studies in the future. Best of luck as you go on to higher levels.
